A little further than the classroom

Mona With The Children works with Pick n Pay and Checkers to recover surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. It's collected and redistributed through the organisation's community work, reaching feeding schemes, disability centres and orphanages in the communities we serve.

It is a straightforward arrangement and it does a great deal of good: food that was going to be thrown away instead reaches a child who needs a meal.
